Description

Viran is very far away from its star, , and therefore the planet does not get very much natural light. Therefore, the inhabitants of Viran congregated in large cities, and created many methods of artificial light to illuminate their lives. On the streets of its cities, one can look up to massive skyscrapers, shining with glowing signs and neon decorations.

Viran is also very stormy, and giant lightning storms traverse the planet constantly. These storms make the environment outside of the cities very harsh, and due to the danger, the vast majority of Virran inhabitants live in incredibly dense populations within the walls of the great cities.

Both of Viran's native inhabitants, the Humans and the Ysoki, have a long history of collaboration, and have needed to huddle together, build together, and work together, to ensure the survival of both of their species. They both learned to harness the power of Viran's natural electricity, and using this innate magic, have created wonderful technology.
